Are you organised, resilient, and ready to build a career in finance? We have a brilliant opportunity to join our Credit Control team at Jones Whyte one of Scotlands most exciting and award-winning law firms.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a busy operational environment, takes pride in delivering accurate work, and enjoys building relationships - both with clients and colleagues. Youll be joining a firm that genuinely invests in its people, where our non-legal teams receive the same development opportunities and recognition as our legal teams.
The Role
Joining our Credit Control team means stepping into a role that genuinely matters. Youll be at the centre of our financial operations - helping to ensure that the firm runs smoothly by keeping cash flowing and client accounts up to date. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position with real variety day to day: one moment youll be picking up the phone to resolve a client query, the next youll be working through a busy inbox or collaborating with fee earners to get an invoice over the line.
Accuracy is key in this role. Youll take pride in keeping records up to date and ensuring every communication and payment update is logged correctly. Youll be comfortable managing a high-volume workload while maintaining a consistently professional standard - the kind of person who stays calm under pressure and knows how to prioritise effectively.
Youll be working directly alongside two experienced Credit Controllers, reporting to our Head of Credit Control, and sitting within a wider Finance team that includes legal cashiers and accountants who are all supported by the Director of Finance. Its a close-knit, experienced group who are committed to doing great work and supporting each other. Whether youre just starting out in finance or looking to build on existing experience, youll find plenty of opportunity to grow and develop here.
