Join Our Team – Wedding & Events Administrator

Part-Time | 16–20 hours per week | Opportunity to Progress to Full-Time

Due to continued growth and an ever-increasing number of weddings, we’re looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic and customer-focused Wedding & Events Administrator to join our team at The Old House 1147.

This is a varied role that combines wedding sales, administration and event coordination, making it perfect for someone who loves organisation, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating unforgettable experiences.

The Role

No two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing day-to-day office administration.
Looking after couples from the point of booking through to their wedding day.
Responding to new wedding enquiries and assisting with the sales process.
Conducting venue viewings for prospective couples.
Preparing wedding paperwork, timelines and event documentation.
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to ensure seamless planning.
Coordinating weddings on the day, or assisting with the smooth running and operation of wedding events.
Providing exceptional customer service throughout every stage of the couple’s journey.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Friendly, professional and confident communicating with clients.
Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
A proactive team player with a positive attitude.
Confident using computers and administrative systems.
Experienced in administration, hospitality, weddings or events (preferred).

Working Hours

18–20 hours per week, typically across 3–4 days.
Must be available to work Saturdays.
Availability during school holidays, bank holidays and occasional evenings is essential due to the nature of the role.
There is a genuine opportunity for this position to develop into a full-time role for the right candidate.
