About The Role

The care sector is such a rich and rewarding place to work. There is variety in your work and in the roles available – you don’t have to be a carer to make a meaningful difference in our care homes.

About You

As a Home Administrator, you will manage administrative systems and processes to perfection to help our Home Manager effectively run the services of the Care Home. We are looking for someone who is proactive and passionate about what they do and in making a difference.

You will be IT confident/literate and happy to take the lead in managing our online presence eg:facebook, search engine & other avenues.

You will have the practical experience to be able to provide support to the Homes Managers and Care team, acting in a proactive manner and not shy away from situations or challenges.

You’ll need great Microsoft Office, (must be well versed in excel), time management and organisational skills in a busy office. We need you to be dynamic and happy to interact with our service users, their families, professional healthcare colleagues and any other visits to Newton Care Home.

Beyond that, it’s all about your brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. So, whenever you communicate with a Resident or co-worker, you’ll be truly considerate and kind. Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential.

Please note that the appointment is subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS And 2 references. The DBS can be paid for by the Company and recouped through your first pay.

Part-time hours: 24 per week

We are able to offer some flexibility on days and times but the working hours must be performed in normal office hours.

Expected start date: within 2 weeks of being offered the position
