Pay Rate: £29,741.40
Grade: P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) 45 hours per week
Shift patterns: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 10.45 - 20.00
Location: Bridgwater, TA6 4AT

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Transport Clerk to play a vital role ensuring smooth-running of all transport scheduled activities

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

Manage customer proof of deliveries for scanning/uploading and action missing proof of deliveries and returns
Daily brief and de-brief of drivers
Ensure compliance with all Company Health & Safety policies and highlight any concerns/issues to senior management in a timely manner
To support all aspects of the Transport Operation
Monitor drivers schedules whilst on route whilst using Microlise and follow appropriate escalation procedures where required

Experience working within a transport operation
Experience with Tachomaster and Microlise
Good knowledge of Legal Compliance and working time directive for Drivers
Excellent PC skills - All Microsoft packages
Excellent Communication skills
