Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest standards of service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and logistics to contribute to a dynamic organisation.

Duties

Conduct multiple daily deliveries to various locations within the assigned area, adhering to scheduled routes and timeframes.
Safely load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are secure during transit.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times, delays, or issues.
Perform routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road at all times.
Assist in warehouse activities as needed, including stock organisation and inventory management.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, ideally with multi-drop responsibilities.
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous.
Experience operating a lorry or similar large vehicle is preferred.
Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling of goods.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Organised, punctual, and able to manage time effectively across multiple deliveries daily.
Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations within the area is desirable. This position is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in delivering excellent service efficiently and safely.
