Qualified Dental Nurse-Genix Bridlington Practice

Please note this position will involve some late evening working and longer term also some weekend working.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist dentists during procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their career within a supportive environment committed to high standards of dental care.

Duties

Support dentists during various dental treatments and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilise instruments, and manage dental supplies efficiently.
Provide pre- and post-treatment advice to patients, including oral hygiene instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times.
Assist with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
Foster a welcoming environment through excellent communication skills and organisational abilities.

Qualifications

recognised qualification as a Dental Nurse or equivalent registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting is desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic IT skills for managing patient records and clinic administration.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
Knowledge of current health and safety standards in dental practice is essential. This position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering high-quality dental care while maintaining excellent organisational standards in a professional environment.

Pay: From £13.53 per hour
