Full job description

HR Assistant

We’re looking for an HR Assistant to join the Delifresh team!
If you’re organised, approachable, curious and passionate about people, this is a fantastic opportunity to build your HR career while playing an important role in supporting our people and our wider business.

Responsibilities & Expectations

Get involved in employee engagement activities and initiatives that help make our workplace a great place to be.
Support payroll administration by providing accurate employee data.
Taking ownership of the HR inbox, delivering accurate and timely resolutions to employee queries while ensuring a positive service experience.
Ensure that first-line advice and service given to key stakeholders.
Update and maintain accurate data in HR systems and employee files.
Help manage the entire employee journey, from onboarding new starters to supporting promotions, transfers, benefits changes, absence management, and employee departures.
Prepare and issue a variety of HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters, transfer letters, and leaver paperwork.
Support the administration of employee reward and benefits programmes, helping colleagues make the most of what's available to them.
Attend meetings, take minutes, and provide valuable administrative support to HR colleagues and stakeholders.
Assist in creating and delivering engaging induction programmes that give new starters a fantastic welcome.
Work alongside the Head of HR on exciting people projects that contribute to the organisation's growth and culture.

We’re looking for someone who:

Is organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
Has excellent communication skills and enjoys building relationships with colleagues at all levels
Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right
Is confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
Is curious and enthusiastic about learning HR systems, processes and best practice
Thrives in a fast-paced and changing environment
Takes a positive approach to new challenges
Works collaboratively and builds strong working relationships
Has a genuine interest in developing a career in HR
Has a CIPD qualification, is working towards one, or has relevant HR/administrative experience

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
