We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in heating systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

As our business expands, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled plumbing and heating engineer to join our friendly team.

Job Title:
Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Location:
Brighton and Hove and surrounding area

Employment Type:
Full-time/part time

Salary:
Competitive, based on experience (+ benefits)

Key Responsibilities:

Install, service, and maintain domestic plumbing and heating systems, including boilers, radiators, pipework, and water systems.
Carry out boiler installations, including ongoing combi swaps and upgrades on agreed price work
Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing and heating systems efficiently and effectively.
Perform routine inspections, safety checks, and system testing.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction at every job.
Complete all work to a high standard, complying with relevant regulations and safety practices.
Accurately complete job reports, service records, and other paperwork as required.
Work collaboratively with the team and assist with training or mentoring apprentices when needed.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent qualification).
Gas Safe Registered (or willingness to become registered, if applicable).
Proven experience in domestic plumbing and heating (minimum 2 years preferred).
Full UK driving license.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Good Knowledge of wiring heating systems and fault finding.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
