About Adrageous Media

Adrageous Media is a fast-growing marketing agency built specifically for trades and construction businesses.

We help roofers, builders, heating engineers, electricians and other brilliant trade businesses grow through social media, paid advertising, websites and serious marketing systems.

We are not looking for someone who simply schedules a few posts and calls it social media management.

We need someone energetic, confident and seriously creative who can get involved with our clients, understand their businesses and turn everyday projects into content that gets attention and generates enquiries.

The Role

As our Social Media Executive, you will take ownership of planning, creating and growing social media accounts for our trade and construction clients.

You will regularly visit client sites, speak with business owners and their teams, come up with fresh content ideas and help capture the personality behind each business.

One day you could be filming a roofing transformation. The next, you might be interviewing a heating engineer, planning a funny reel or turning a finished project into a campaign that generates new work.

You will need to be comfortable taking the lead, bringing new ideas to the table and encouraging clients who may not naturally feel confident in front of the camera.

What You’ll Be Doing

Planning creative social media content for multiple trade businesses
Visiting client sites to capture videos, photos and behind-the-scenes content
Speaking confidently with clients and helping them feel comfortable on camera
Developing reels, posts, stories, case studies and educational content
Coming up with fresh ideas that make trade businesses stand out
Writing engaging captions that sound natural rather than robotic
Managing social media calendars and ensuring content is published consistently
Identifying trends and adapting them to suit trades and construction
Helping clients grow their audience, strengthen their reputation and generate more enquiries
Working closely with our designers, videographers, paid media team and account managers
Reviewing performance and using the results to improve future content

Who We’re Looking For

You must be:

Extremely creative and constantly bringing new ideas
Energetic, confident and comfortable meeting new people
Comfortable speaking directly with clients
Able to take control of content days and give clients clear direction
Passionate about creating content that gets real attention
Organised enough to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines
Able to understand different businesses and adapt your ideas accordingly
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and short-form video content
Interested in what actually helps a business grow, not just likes and followers

You must also have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as regular travel to client locations will be required.

Experience

Previous experience in social media management, content creation or digital marketing is required.

Experience working with trade, construction or local service businesses would be a major advantage, but it is not essential. What matters most is that you understand how to make real businesses look exciting online.

Experience filming and editing short-form video content would also be highly beneficial.

The Right Personality

We are looking for someone with personality.

Someone who is not afraid to suggest something different, speak up in a meeting or convince a client to try an idea they would never have considered themselves.

You should be able to walk onto a building site, start conversations, spot content opportunities and leave with enough ideas to keep the account moving forward.

This role will suit someone ambitious who wants to grow with a modern agency and play a major part in shaping the social presence of some brilliant trade businesses.
