Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations, with a particular focus on pizza making. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a dynamic restaurant environment, delivering high-quality dishes that delight our customers. Previous experience in catering, restaurant settings, or meal preparation is highly desirable, alongside a commitment to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook authentic pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including dough, sauces, and toppings
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Operate kitchen equipment efficiently and safely during meal preparation
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
Support the team during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders
Contribute to menu development by suggesting new pizza varieties and toppings
Serve customers directly when required, providing excellent customer service and product knowledge

Qualifications

Proven experience in cooking, particularly within a restaurant or catering environment
Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standards
Experience in meal and food preparation, with an emphasis on pizza or similar cuisine preferred
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
Previous experience in serving customers is advantageous but not essential
Culinary experience demonstrating creativity and attention to detail is highly valued
