CF Fundraising Ltd is looking for confident, compassionate and professional Membership Sales Representatives to represent Chestnut Tree House, the children's hospice for Sussex and South East Hampshire.
Working at carefully selected venues and community events, you'll inspire members of the public to become regular supporters, helping ensure local children and their families receive specialist care when they need it most.

About Chestnut Tree House
Chestnut Tree House provides specialist palliative care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions across Sussex and South East Hampshire.
Whether at the hospice near Arundel or in families' own homes, the charity offers expert nursing care, emotional support and opportunities for families to create precious memories together.
Every new supporter you recruit helps ensure this extraordinary care continues to be available free of charge to local families.
The Role
As a Membership Sales Representative, you'll engage members of the public in warm, meaningful conversations about the work of Chestnut Tree House, encouraging them to support the hospice through regular giving, including sponsoring a room within the hospice.
Working at shopping centres, garden centres, community events and other high-footfall venues, you'll use your people skills to build trust, communicate with empathy and inspire long-term support.
What You'll Be Doing
- Representing Chestnut Tree House professionally at pre-booked venues and events.
- Starting engaging conversations with members of the public.
- Building trust and explaining how regular support changes the lives of local children and families.
- Inspiring people to become long-term supporters, including through room sponsorship.
- Consistently achieving individual and team targets.
- Delivering an outstanding supporter experience on every interaction.

About You
You'll enjoy meeting new people and feel confident starting conversations with members of the public.
You'll already have experience in a target-driven, customer-facing environment and understand how to build relationships, handle objections and achieve results with professionalism and empathy.
You'll ideally have experience in:
- Face-to-face Sales
- Field Sales
- Membership Sales
- Charity Fundraising
- Retail Sales
- Telecoms or Utility Sales
- Hospitality or another customer-facing role with performance targets
You'll also be:
- Friendly, approachable and an excellent communicator.
- Confident building rapport with people from all walks of life.
- Motivated by achieving results and earning performance bonuses.
- Compassionate and able to communicate with sensitivity.
- Self-motivated, resilient and professional.
- Available to work Friday to Sunday (3 days per week).
- A full UK driving licence holder with access to your own vehicle.
