Full job description

WE'RE HIRING A HEAD BARISTA / SUPERVISOR!

We're a unique coffee shop in Hove, built around motorcycles and motorcycle culture, and we're looking for a new member to join our small but mighty team. If you thrive on the hustle and bustle of a busy cafe, we want to hear from you.

The role:

Part-time, 20–30 hrs/week with potential to increase
Weekends are a key part of this role — availability is essential
Key holder, responsible for opening and closing the cafe
Comfortable with lone working (e.g. covering lunch breaks)
Cash handling and cashing up
Assisting with stock checks and liaising with management on new suppliers and seasonal specials
Training staff on coffee and maintaining quality control on drinks made
Helping cover events (Halloween, NYE, birthdays, etc.)

What we're looking for:

Minimum 3 years' barista experience (coffee, pour over, dialling in grinders)
Strong time management — able to handle multiple orders efficiently
Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
A natural leader who sets the standard in customer service, teamwork, and work ethic
A proactive self-starter who gets stuck in without waiting to be asked
An interest in motorcycles/motorcycle culture is a bonus but not essential
