Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Dispenser, where you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient medication dispensing while delivering exceptional patient care. In this energetic position, you will assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and distributing prescriptions, managing medication inventory, and providing vital support to patients. Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescribed medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring correct dosage and labeling.
Assist with medication administration procedures, including preparing and packaging prescriptions for patient pickup or delivery.
Engage with patients to provide clear instructions on medication usage, potential side effects, and answer basic questions to support their understanding.
Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications, inventory levels, and transaction logs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Support inventory management by restocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and placing orders for medication supplies as needed.
Collaborate closely with pharmacists to verify prescription details and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Uphold all safety protocols and confidentiality standards to protect patient information and ensure a secure pharmacy environment.

Experience

Prior experience working as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare support role is highly preferred.
Familiarity with medication administration processes and pharmacy software systems enhances your effectiveness in this role.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for accurate dispensing and recordkeeping.
Excellent communication skills enable you to interact confidently with patients and healthcare professionals.
A proactive attitude towards learning new procedures and maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations is highly valued.

Pay: £26,437.00-£30,000.00 per year
