Job Overview

We are a family run 2 man courier based in Corby and looking for an experienced Warehouse manager to manage all day to day warehouse activity shifts will be 12 noon - 10pm Monday to Friday.

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Logistics & Warehouse Manager to lead our supply chain operations and warehouse activities. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management to ensure seamless transportation, storage, and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, driving process improvements, optimizing warehouse performance, and managing a team to deliver exceptional service. Your leadership will directly impact operational efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction, making this an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a tangible difference.

Responsibilities

Oversee all logistics functions, including transportation management systems (TMS)
Supervise daily warehouse activities such as shipping & receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage third-party logistics providers (3PL) to coordinate transportation services, track shipments, and resolve issues promptly.
Lead process improvement initiatives focused on continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety standards.
Monitor profit & loss statements related to logistics operations, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
Supervise warehouse staff, including forklift operators and other team members, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain accurate records of all logistics activities..

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in logistics or warehouse management roles with a strong understanding of supply chain processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage profit & loss responsibilities effectively while driving process improvements.
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, forklift operation certification, and warehouse safety standards.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with 3PL partnerships and supply chain best practices to optimize overall logistics performance.
