As we continue to scale, we're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Administrator to join our growing team in Bristol. What You'll Be Doing
As our Finance Administrator, you'll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all finance functions. Your mission is to help keep our financial processes running smoothly while providing valuable support to the wider business.
Main Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices, purchase orders, and expenses accurately and efficiently.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Raise and issue customer invoices, ensuring timely payment collection.
- Reconcile bank accounts, company cards, and financial records.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers where necessary.
- Assist with month-end and year-end finance processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support payroll administration and employee expense processing.
- Prepare financial reports and spreadsheets for management review.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and external accountants when required.
- Help identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance and leadership teams.
Your Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone who combines strong numerical ability with excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Finance & Administration Skills
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts, bookkeeping, or administration role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
