A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Line Leader to work in our facility in Severn Beach. The main purpose of this role is to assist the line leaders in running automated production lines or to run the semi-automated/manual production lines
The main responsibilities of this role are:
- To assist the shift managers in identifying the optimum run rates
- Monitor production / Machine /Multi Skilled Operators performance on the line
- Ensuring food safety standards, product quality and hygiene Good Manufacturing Practice
- Perform visual quality inspections and reporting issues to Shift Manager/QA's
- Complete all relevant Production documentation for traceability purposes
- Perform changeovers and setting up lines for different formats
- Liaise with other departments to improve efficiency on the line
- Manage the line and operators in the most efficient way to achieve maximum output and yield
- Monitor and report operators’ performance
- Assist with customers and technical audits
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and liaising with Shift Managers
- Manage ERP systems for material consumption, output, return and labelling

The hours for this role are 40 hours per week Monday – Friday on rotating shifts of 5.30am-2pm and 1.30pm-10pm.
