Full job description

Trainee / Improver Bricklayer – Domestic Construction

We are looking for a young bricklayer who has recently completed an NVQ apprenticeship and is looking to develop their skills within a varied domestic construction environment.

This role would suit someone who has mainly worked on commercial building sites and would prefer a more hands-on role in domestic construction, with opportunities to learn a wide range of trades and building techniques.

What you’ll do

Bricklaying and blockwork on domestic projects
Assist with structural alterations and building works
Learn roofing, carpentry and plasterboarding
Gain experience in plastering and general building
Work as part of a small, professional team on a variety of projects

What we’re looking for

NVQ-qualified bricklayer or recently completed apprenticeship
Good understanding of safe working practices
Conscientious and takes pride in their work
Polite, respectful and professional with customers
Motivated and keen to learn new skills
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Full UK driving licence and have transport
