Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Responsible Individual to support our Registered Managers and our homes to be Ofsted compliant and provide a nurturing and therapeutic environment.

This opportunity can be on a part time basis or as part of a consultancy portfolio.

You will have been a registered manager in a children's home and will oversee the compliance and operational standards across our 4 homes in the Bristol area.

This role requires strong leadership, supervisory skills, and a thorough understanding of childrens home legislation. The Responsible Individual will play a vital role in maintaining regulatory compliance, providing a nurturing homely environment and supportive management to the team.

Duties

Support and lead the managers.
Oversee processes, systems and Clearcare useage
Measure outcomes and training to ensure continuous improvement
Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain compliance
Liaise with social workers, professionals, and regulatory bodies to coordinate effective responsive care.
Ensure all training is reviewed and updated so care is consistent and outcomes improved
Oversee incident reports and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken promptly.
Previous management experience within a children's home or similar setting is essential.
Knowledge of relevant legislation governing children's social care and safeguarding in the UK.

Pay: £30.00-£40.00 per hour
