Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and experience in utilising CRM software and Salesforce to optimise sales processes. The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and achieving organisational objectives through innovative approaches and proactive engagement.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry analysis.
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.
Develop customised proposals and presentations tailored to client needs, demonstrating the value of our products/services.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create targeted strategies that maximise outreach and engagement.
Utilise CRM software and Salesforce to track leads, manage sales pipelines, and analyse customer data for informed decision-making.
Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively, ensuring mutual benefit for both organisation and clients.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify emerging opportunities or threats.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and strategic initiatives for senior management.

Requirements

Proven experience in business development or sales within a relevant industry sector.
Proficiency in CRM software systems, particularly Salesforce, with the ability to leverage these tools for maximum efficiency.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse market data and develop innovative growth strategies.
Organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
A proactive approach with resilience in overcoming challenges and setbacks.
Relevant qualifications in business administration, marketing, or related fields are preferred but not essential.
