Larchmont Construction is a high end residential main contractor based in Bath, delivering bespoke new builds, whole house refurbishments, extensions, and heritage work across the South West (within 90 minutes). Projects typically range from £500k to £5m, with clients and architects who expect an exceptional finish and a professional experience from start to finish.

The role
You'll be our hands on site lead across live projects managing day to day operations, coordinating subbies, maintaining programme and quality, and keeping the site safe and running smoothly. You'll work closely with the director and act as the client facing point of contact on site.
This is a working foreman role: you'll be expected to roll up your sleeves when needed, but your other responsibilities include keeping the project moving and the standards high.
What you'll be doing
- Managing subcontractors and deliveries day to day, keeping works on programme
- Maintaining quality standards throughout snagging, checking, holding trades to account
- Overseeing site safety in line with CDM and company procedures
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients, architects, and design teams on site
- Reporting progress to the director or contract manager weekly and flagging risks early
- Hands on work where the project demands it
What we're looking for
- Proven background in high end residential construction bespoke new build, refurbishment, or heritage
- Strong trade background (carpentry, joinery, or general building preferred)
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating busy sites
- SMSTS and current First Aid at Work
- Confident communicator who is comfortable dealing directly with architects and clients
- A methodical, quality first approach and genuine pride in the finished product
- Full UK driving licence

Pay: £30,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
