Full job description

We're looking for a Document Controller to join our Neath Port Talbot Hospital team based in Neath Port Talbot.

Location: Site Based - Neath Port Talbot Hospital
Hours: 40 hours per week

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Join our dedicated team at Neath Port Talbot Hospital, where you'll play a vital role in managing essential documentation and information systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, detail-oriented professional who thrives on creating structure and ensuring excellence in document management as we prepare for the PFI project expiry.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Document Controller, you'll be working within the Operational Support team, supporting them in delivering comprehensive facilities management services. Your day to day will include:

Managing and maintaining the Document Management System, ensuring all records are structured, version-controlled and compliant with contractual requirements
Conducting thorough audits of documentation relating to capital works, maintenance records, drawings and service reports, developing action plans to address any gaps
Coordinating the migration and digitisation of archive documentation, ensuring seamless upload to the DMS
Collaborating with stakeholders in Handback meetings, preparing management information and supporting the transition process
Providing administrative and helpdesk support, ensuring continuity of site operations

What are we looking for?

This role of Document Controller is great for you if:

You're an articulate communicator with strong interpersonal skills, confident in liaising with stakeholders at all levels
You have excellent organisational abilities and can effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
You bring a proactive, professional approach with a positive, can-do attitude
You're experienced with SharePoint and other data management platforms
You're proficient in data analysis tools, particularly MS Excel
