Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Dog Groomer to join our growing team at .

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of professional grooming experience and be confident grooming a wide range of breeds, coat types, and temperaments. We are seeking someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and genuinely passionate about animal welfare and customer care.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year professional dog grooming experience
Recognised grooming qualifications or a strong grooming portfolio
Confident grooming all breeds and handling different behaviours and temperaments
Excellent animal handling skills and genuine love for dogs
Strong client communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated with good time management
High standards of cleanliness, safety, and care

Responsibilities

Carry out high-quality grooming services including bathing, drying, clipping, hand scissoring, handstripping, nail trimming, and ear cleaning. Some cats are involved too.
Assess coat and skin condition and communicate findings with clients
Handle dogs safely, calmly, and professionally
Maintain a clean and organised grooming environment
Build positive relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
