THE ROLE

As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and strategic direction of the hotel.

Working alongside RBH's specialist support teams and Radisson brand partners, you will be accountable for driving revenue growth, delivering exceptional guest experiences, maximising profitability, developing your team, and ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the business.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring a dynamic and inspirational individual who can balance commercial acumen with people leadership whilst maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction.

THE LOCATION

The Radisson Blu Hotel Liverpool is in the heart of the business district, next door to the passport office, within a 15-minute walk of Cavern Club and Liverpool ONE. This hotel is 0.7 mi (1.1 km) from Liverpool Pier Head Ferry Terminal and 0.8 mi (1.3 km) from Royal Albert Dock. John Lennon Airport is just under 10 miles away.

Inspire, lead, and develop a high performing hotel team.
Create a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Drive colleague satisfaction, retention, and development.
Support succession planning and talent development across all departments.
Champion RBH's values and people-first culture

Driving Commercial Success

Deliver budgeted revenue, profit, GOP, and market share targets.
Develop and execute strategic business plans that maximise performance.
Identify new commercial opportunities across rooms, food & beverage, meetings, and events.
Work closely with Revenue, Sales & Marketing teams to drive demand and profitability.
Maximise the commercial potential of all hotel revenue streams.
Monitor business performance and implement strategies to continuously improve results.

Delivering Exceptional Guest Experiences

Ensure consistently outstanding guest service across all areas of the hotel.
Drive guest satisfaction, loyalty, and reputation scores.
Maintain Radisson brand standards and RBH operational excellence.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives through guest insight and feedback.
Foster a culture focused on memorable guest experiences.

Stakeholder & Owner Management

Build strong relationships with owners, investors, and key stakeholders.
Provide detailed performance updates and strategic recommendations.
Work collaboratively with Radisson, RBH support functions, and commercial partners.
Represent the hotel within the local business community and hospitality sector.

Operational Excellence

Oversee all operational departments to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with all legal, financial, health & safety, and company requirements.
Drive quality assurance standards across the hotel.
Lead innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your leadership will directly influence guest satisfaction, financial performance, colleague engagement, and owner returns. Through your vision and leadership, you will help establish the hotel as one of Liverpool’s leading hospitality venues.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Proven experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager, or senior operational leader within a quality hotel environment
Strong commercial expertise with a proven track record of delivering revenue and profit growth.
Experience leading large, multi-functional teams.
Outstanding leadership and people development skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
Experience within branded hotels, ideally Radisson or a comparable international brand.
A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
The ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on leadership style.
