Job Overview

Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Bar Steward, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of our bar area. This energetic position involves supporting bartenders by ensuring all glassware, utensils, and bar tools are spotless, well-stocked, and ready for service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This paid role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while contributing to a lively and dynamic venue.

Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and organize glassware, utensils, and bar tools efficiently to meet service demands
Restock bar supplies and ensure all items are properly stored and labeled according to food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces, throughout each shift
Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of stock levels
Support bartenders during busy periods by preparing garnishes or basic drink components as needed
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and hygiene practices
Manage time effectively to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed promptly without disrupting service flow

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a positive attitude is essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Ability to serve guests courteously with a friendly demeanor
Basic math skills for handling inventory counts and transaction accuracy
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
Excellent communication skills to work seamlessly with team members and support the bar operation
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt in a fast-paced setting
