MK Landscapes is an established, high-end landscaping company specialising in the design and construction of premium residential gardens across South London and Kent.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Landscaper / Landscape Team Leader to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and has the experience and confidence to lead a team on site.
The role
You will be responsible for helping to deliver high-end landscaping projects from start to finish, while managing and overseeing a small team of landscapers and labourers.
The successful candidate will be confident working from landscape drawings, setting out projects accurately and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage a small landscaping team on site
- Read and understand landscape drawings and specifications
- Set out patios, paths, walls, steps and other landscaping features
- Accurately set levels and falls using a laser level
- Prepare and lay porcelain, natural stone and other paving
- Build brickwork, blockwork, walls and raised beds
- Install drainage systems and ensure correct falls
- Construct timber and composite decking
- Carry out groundworks, excavations and concrete foundations
- Install fencing, structures and other garden features
- Work alongside other trades and contractors where required
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Ensure projects are completed to a consistently high standard
- Communicate effectively with the project manager and clients when required
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site and team
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years’ professional landscaping experience
- Previous experience leading or managing a landscaping team
- Excellent knowledge of hard landscaping
- The ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Strong setting-out and levelling skills
- Experience with paving, brickwork, drainage, decking and groundworks
- A good eye for detail and high standards of workmanship
- The ability to work independently and solve problems on site
- Good communication skills
- A professional attitude and pride in their work
- A full UK driving licence

The ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of a site and lead from the front.
You should be an experienced landscaper who can read drawings, set out a project, manage a team and produce high-quality workmanship without needing constant supervision.
