Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Care Navigator/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring smooth patient flow within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a compassionate attitude, and previous office experience. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care while developing valuable administrative expertise in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, creating a welcoming environment
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming bookings
Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, directing enquiries appropriately
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the electronic health record system
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing correspondence
Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and external agencies as needed
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and organised at all times
Support the care team with general administrative duties to facilitate efficient clinic operations

Requirements

Previous office or administrative experience is desirable
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Compassionate approach with a focus on patient confidentiality and privacy
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in standard office software programmes such as MS Office (Word, Excel)
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands within the healthcare setting

Pay: From £24,521.00 per year
