Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electricians Mate to join our team. This role involves assisting qualified electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across various projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in electrical work, possess basic technical skills, and be eager to learn and develop their expertise within a professional environment. This paid position offers valuable hands-on experience in the electrical trade, supporting career progression for those committed to the industry.

Responsibilities

Assist electricians with the installation and maintenance of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
Support in measuring, cutting, bending, and assembling electrical components.
Help with the organisation and preparation of materials required for electrical tasks.
Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment.
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote efficiency and safety standards.
Support electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues as directed.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in electrical work.
Some previous electrical experience or training is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is crucial.
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commitment to safety procedures and practices.
