Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Administration Assistant to support our HR & Compliance Manager across supplier communication, compliance administration, and ownership of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reporting. This role requires someone who learns quickly, works accurately, and is confident managing detailed, compliance‑critical information.

This is a key role within a small, busy team, ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, structured processes, and working with precision.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Communication & Compliance: Contacting suppliers when compliance documents are due to expire, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all supplier information is kept fully up to date within the company’s QMS system.
EPR Ownership: Taking full responsibility for EPR data collection, packaging reporting, and submission cycles. Full training will be provided, as EPR is a complex and detailed regulatory requirement.
General Office Administration: Managing correspondence, filing, scheduling, and supporting day‑to‑day office operations to ensure smooth workflow across the business.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong Administrative Experience: Proven background in office administration, ideally within compliance, operations, or supplier‑facing roles.
Quick Learner: Able to pick up new systems, processes, and regulatory requirements rapidly.
Excellent Attention to Detail: Accuracy is essential for supplier compliance records and EPR reporting.
Organisational Skills: Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and maintain structured records.
Confident IT Skills: Competent with Microsoft Office and digital filing systems; comfortable navigating QMS platforms.
Professional Communication: Clear, polite, and confident communication with suppliers and internal colleagues.
Discretion & Confidentiality: Essential when handling compliance documentation and supplier information.
