Sales & Account Manager
Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 per year
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45 am – 4:45 pm
Location: Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire

About Us
Are you a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and helping customers find the right solutions? LBS, one of the UK's leading B2B suppliers of watch parts to jewellers, shoe repairers and watchmakers, is looking for a Sales & Account Manager to join our friendly team based in Hoddesdon.

The Role
As a Sales & Account Manager, you'll play a key role in driving business growth by developing relationships with both new and existing customers. This is a hybrid sales role, balancing new business acquisition with account management, ensuring our customers receive outstanding service while identifying opportunities to grow revenue.

Using a combination of phone calls, email, and digital outreach, you'll proactively engage with customers, build long-term relationships, and help them get the most from our products and services. As much of our business comes from repeat customers, you'll become a trusted point of contact for your accounts while also expanding our customer base through new business development.

This is an office-based role, Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 4:45 pm.

What you'll be doing

Managing and developing an existing portfolio of customer accounts.
Building strong, long-term relationships with customers through regular contact.
Identifying opportunities to increase sales and grow account revenue.
Prospecting and engaging new customers primarily by phone (c.50 outbound calls per day) but also email, and digital outreach.
Delivering excellent customer service and responding promptly to customer enquiries.
Working closely with colleagues to ensure customers receive a seamless experience.
Achieving individual sales and business development targets.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in sales, customer service, or account management is essential.
A confident and professional communicator with an excellent telephone manner.
Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to identify sales opportunities.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer relationships.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
