Main Responsibilities

To allocate rooms to Housekeeping Assistants
To ensure that the work is done to the required standards
To allocate extra tasks to Housekeeping Assistants, such as deep cleaning, corridor cleaning and laundry duties
To ensure that rooms are checked off in the required timescale so that they can be handed back to Reception ready for guest check in time
Responsible for standards of cleanliness and maintenance of all floor and housekeeping areas
Turndown duties
To ensure effective staff rotas
To oversee the housekeeping department in absence of the Head Housekeeper
Responsible for maintenance checks of all areas (including spotting of damage and wear and tear, making sure it is documented and followed up)
To ensure all the Housekeeping team adhere to all housekeeping standards as per SOP manual.
To order stock as instructed and needed
To be aware of COSHH, risk assessments and Health and Safety procedures relating to the housekeeping department.
To be aware and help keep linen and cleaning costs down
To arrange staff cover for staff off sick
To be aware of fire evacuation procedures

Pay: £29,540.00 per year
