Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring exceptional service standards, and maintaining food safety and quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for culinary arts and team leadership to contribute to a vibrant dining environment. Previous restaurant, hotel, or culinary experience is highly desirable, along with strong supervisory skills. The position is paid and suitable for candidates eager to develop their career in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of food and beverage staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
Manage daily operations in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing support to existing staff
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Enforce health and safety policies across all areas of operation
Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency within the team

Skills

Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Excellent team management and leadership abilities
Ability to oversee food production processes while maintaining high standards of quality
Skilled in serving guests with professionalism and courtesy
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of hospitality operations including barista experience or bar management is advantageous
Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
A proactive approach to problem-solving and staff development
