Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling shipments and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse management systems, shipping and receiving within a fast-paced environment. The position is suitable for individuals with prior warehouse experience or those eager to learn and grow in the logistics sector.

Duties

Handle parcels efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse
Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and competently - training will be provided but ideal
Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times during daily operations

Requirements

Experience in warehousing or logistics environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Physically fit with the ability to perform heavy lifting regularly
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency
