Kitchen Porter (KP) – Castle Carvery Caister

We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team. Our kitchens are fast-paced, highly organised, and focused on delivering a great guest experience – and our will KPs play a vital role in making that happen.

As a key member of the team, you’ll help keep the kitchen running smoothly by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene throughout service.

About You
You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to follow instructions, and happy to get stuck in wherever needed. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to cleanliness are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Your role will include (but is not limited to):

Maintaining excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas.
Operating the dishwasher and ensuring all pots, pans, crockery, and utensils are cleaned and ready for service.
Keeping food prep areas and kitchen equipment clean and sanitised.
Assisting with the organisation and cleanliness of storage areas, including fridges and freezers.
Receiving, unloading, and correctly storing deliveries in line with food safety procedures.
Ensuring floors, walls, and work surfaces are always kept clean and safe.
Supporting the kitchen team with basic food preparation when required.
Following all company and legal health & safety and food hygiene procedures.

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential, full training will be provided.
