Job Title: Sprayer Paint Line

Working hours: This is a permanent late-shift role, working 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm, 40 hours per week.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sprayer Paint Line Operative to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining paint spraying equipment on the production line, ensuring high-quality finishings on products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand tools and power tools, and a keen eye for detail. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication, assembly, or construction painting to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Operate automated and manual paint sprayer equipment along the production line to apply coatings efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct routine inspections of the paint line machinery, performing basic troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal finish quality.
- Assist with assembly tasks related to the paint process, including fitting components and handling materials.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment to adhere to health and safety standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to support production activities.
- Monitor paint application quality, making adjustments to equipment settings as necessary to meet specifications.
- Document production data and report any issues or defects to supervisors promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, construction painting, fabrication, or assembly is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques is preferred.
- Basic math skills are necessary for measurements and quality checks during the painting process.
- Experience working with spray lines or similar manufacturing environments will be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with health and safety procedures related to industrial painting and equipment operation is beneficial.
