Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional 7.5 tonne driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to all safety regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and logistics to contribute to a dynamic organisation.

Duties

Operate a 7.5 tonne lorry for the transportation of goods to various locations
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals
Load and unload cargo safely, using appropriate equipment and techniques
Conduct daily vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in accordance with customer requirements
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Comply with all legal requirements, including driving hours and tachograph regulations
Uphold high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service during all interactions

Experience

Proven experience as a commercial delivery driver, preferably with vehicles
Strong driving skills with a clean driving licence valid for 7.5 tonne vehicles
Experience in handling deliveries using trucks or similar vehicles
Knowledge of current road laws and safety regulations relevant to commercial driving
Previous experience with delivery routes and logistics management is advantageous

This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their driving skills and enjoy working independently while providing excellent service.
