Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Handyman/woman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in maintenance, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as supervisory experience. The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership qualities, customer service skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. All positions are paid, including internship roles, and we welcome applicants eager to contribute to a dynamic working environment. We’re looking for an experienced plumber with a solid background in residential and commercial work, ready to provide reliable and efficient service within our team.

Duties

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and facilities
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues efficiently
Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring diagrams
Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automation systems
Perform welding tasks as required to repair or fabricate components
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on work completed
Supervise junior staff or apprentices, providing guidance and training where necessary
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems
Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally

Experience

Proven experience in maintenance roles within industrial or manufacturing environments
Strong electrical experience with knowledge of PLCs and schematics
Mechanical knowledge including welding skills and understanding of mechanical systems
Experience in supervising or leading teams is highly desirable
Familiarity with maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for clear communication
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving
Customer service orientation with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
