Full job description

Job Summary:

There are training and promotion opportunities available for those who want to pursue these and everyday job satisfaction at Tudor Lodge.

You will work as a part of a small team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all parts of a family run care home for the elderly.

Hours of work:

09:15am-2:15pm Monday and Thursday and every 3rd weekend 9am-12:15pm, plus relief.

Key skills:

Previous experience of cleaning in a similar environment is desirable but not essential as you will be fully supported by the Care Manager with an induction programme and appropriate training.

Appointment of successful applicants is subject to satisfactory references and clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service, if applicable.

Key Tasks:

To maintain a clean and fresh environment throughout the home.
To report maintenance issues requiring attention to management
To attend training sessions and general staff meetings as required.
To cover the absence of colleagues during periods of annual leave and sickness.
Any other tasks as may be delegated by the Manager or Deputy Manager.
