Full job description

At Almond House Nursery, we are seeking a kind, motivated, and passionate individual to join our innovative team of early years practitioners.

We are committed to delivering exceptional care and education for children aged 0–5 years. If you share our ethos and are passionate about supporting children to thrive, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years
Support children’s learning and development through play in line with the EYFS framework
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children
Carry out personal care duties, including nappy changing and bottle feeding
Observe, monitor, and record children’s progress and development
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies and procedures at all times
Assist with daily routines, activities, and maintaining cleanliness within the nursery
Work effectively as part of a team to maintain high childcare standards

Requirements

A genuine passion for working with children
Good communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training)
Reliable, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
