Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our joinery manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role is to assist in the production of Architectural joinery and Shopfitting items for use in the construction and leisure industry.

Rate of Pay - Dependent on experience, Paid over time at time and a half

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery to minimise downtime
Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring adherence to tolerances and standards
Adjust machine parameters based on inspection results and process requirements
Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety regulations

Experience

Proven experience operating CNC machines within this environment
Familiarity with CAD software
Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and other machining equipment
Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques
Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed technical instructions accurately
