Motor Vehicle Technician – Level 2 & Senior Technician Opportunities

Location: Waterloo Road, Blackpool FY4 2AE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are looking to expand our team and are seeking two motivated Motor Vehicle Technicians to join our busy and friendly workshop.

Position 1: Motor Vehicle Technician – Level 2

This role is ideal for someone who has recently qualified or is in the early stages of their career and is looking to develop their skills in a professional workshop environment.

Requirements

Level 2 Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
Basic knowledge of vehicle servicing and repairs
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good time management and communication skills
Full UK driving licence (required)

Responsibilities

Carry out routine servicing and maintenance
Assist with diagnostics and repairs under supervision
Complete work to a high standard while following health and safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organised work area

Position 2: Senior Motor Vehicle Technician

We are also looking for an experienced technician with a strong background in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician
Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or higher)
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Full UK driving licence (required)
MOT Tester qualification preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
Complete work to manufacturer and industry standards
Support and mentor junior technicians where appropriate
Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
