About Us

AM5 FOOTBALL COACHING is a high-performance football academy focused on developing technically excellent, intelligent, and confident players. We specialise in individual (1-to-1) and small-group (2-to-1) coaching, delivering elite-level training tailored to each player’s needs.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven football coach to deliver high-quality 1-to-1 and 2-to-1 coaching sessions to academy and grass root players. The ideal candidate will have first-hand experience within a professional academy system or as a professional footballer and be passionate about developing players both technically and mentally.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-intensity 1-to-1 and 2-to-1 coaching sessions
Develop players’ technical, tactical, physical, and psychological skills
Create individual development plans tailored to each player
Maintain professional standards in session delivery, punctuality, and communication
Provide clear feedback to players and parents where appropriate
Represent the academy’s values on and off the pitch
Ensure all sessions are safe, engaging, and development-focused

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in a professional football academy system OR professional playing experience
Strong technical understanding of the modern game
Ability to coach players of varying ages and abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High energy, professionalism, and attention to detail
Passion for individual player development

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

FA Coaching Qualifications (Level 2, UEFA C, or above)
Previous experience delivering 1-to-1 or small-group coaching
Experience working with academy or elite-level players
First Aid & Safeguarding certificates (or willingness to obtain)
