Apprentice Lift Engineer Jobs in Southampton at Stannah - Come and join our Team !

Are you looking for an Engineering apprenticeship? Have you considered a career in Lift Engineering?

Stannah is looking to recruit ambitious Apprentice Lift Engineers to join our Maintenance and Repair division. You will cover a route across the Ringwood service branch.

This a great opportunity to earn, whilst you learn and continue your education. You will receive a starting salary of £17,679 which will be reviewed regularly based on performance. We offer a great benefits package with our profit share bonus scheme, Simply Health, 25 days holiday, matched contribution pension scheme, shop discounts plus much more!

If you're passionate about electronics and mechanics or have previous experience in a mechanical/electrical role and are seeking a career change, we want to hear from you!

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00 - 4.45 and Friday 8.00 - 3.45

Apprentice Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

Shadow qualified Engineers assisting with the servicing and repair of lifts.
Attend distance learning courses and complete coursework on time and to a high standard.
Attend training and mentoring sessions, both in person and online.
Participate in at least 20% off-the-job training.
Demonstrate the aptitude and behaviours of a future Stannah Lift Engineer.

Training and Development:

Duration of 40 months
A mix of practical, mentoring and structured learning at our training centre.
You will achieve a qualification in Lift Engineering

Qualifications

Apprentice Lift Engineer Requirements:

Achieved a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 - 9 (A-C) passes in Maths, English
Have a keen interest in engineering or practical experience working in a related role.
A valid driving licence or working towards
