Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Bank Laundry and Domestic Assistant to join our caring team at Westcroft Nursing Home in the GB area. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for our residents, supporting our commitment to exceptional elderly care.
Responsibilities

Perform laundry duties efficiently, ensuring all residents' clothing and linens are cleaned and maintained to high standards.
Assist with general domestic tasks such as cleaning and tidying communal areas and resident rooms.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
Support the care team with additional domestic duties as required.
Maintain accurate records of laundry activities and supplies.
Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
Contribute to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the home.
Qualifications
Previous hotel or domestic experience is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a friendly manner.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning and laundry.
Reliable with a strong work ethic.
Flexibility to cover various shifts as needed.
Basic understanding of hygiene standards relevant to elderly care settings.
