Full job description

Due to increase in occupancy we are recruiting staff in a number of the nursery rooms.

Contracted hours that would be considered would be 4 days between Monday to Friday working 37.5hrs or 3 days working 28.25hrs within the shift patterns of 7.20am to 17.20 or 8.30am to 18.30pm).

Zero hour bank staff contracts are also available.

We will consider paying two hours a day towards commuting costs if you live over 18 miles distance away from the nursery. This is paid at the hourly rate on top of contracted hours at the nursery.

Duties:
- Engage and communicate effectively with children in a nurturing and supportive manner.
- Utilize your experience in early childhood education to create engaging and educational activities.
- Demonstrate leadership skills to manage and supervise children during daily routines.
- Provide childcare support with a focus on the well-being and development of each child.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare practices.
- Uphold Pennies' standards of excellence in childcare services.

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a nursery setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in English language skills for effective communication.
- Ability to drive engagement and create enriching experiences for children.
- Knowledge of childcare practices and early childhood development.
- Strong leadership qualities to guide and support children effectively.
