We're growing.

With the opening of our exciting new nursery annex, we're looking for a passionate and inspiring Early Years Teacher (EYTS/QTS) to join our ambitious team and help create exceptional learning experiences for children aged 0–5 years.

At Heaton House Nursery, we believe childhood should be full of wonder, curiosity and joy. We're looking for someone who shares that vision and can inspire children through meaningful play, creativity and outstanding teaching.

Eligible for the £4,500 Teacher Recognition Payment?

Depending on individual circumstances and Department for Education eligibility criteria, candidates holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS/EYP) working in Bolton may be eligible for the £4,500 Teacher Recognition Payment or other teacher retention incentives upon taking up this role.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Holds QTS, EYTS or an equivalent recognised qualification

Has a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS

Is passionate about delivering exceptional early years education

Can inspire curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning

Believes every child deserves the very best start in life

Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive and ambitious team

Role Details

Location: Heaton House Nursery, Bolton

Hours: 39–40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days

Typical working patterns:
Four days per week between 7.30am and 6.00pm
Five days per week between 8.45am and 5.30pm

Start Date: September 2026 (January 2027 applications also welcomed)

Salary: Competitive and dependent upon qualifications and experience

Annual Leave: Competitive holiday entitlement
