Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and professional environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your nursing skills and contribute positively to patient recovery and well-being. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Duties

Deliver comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and assisting with daily activities.
Support patients through their treatment plans, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalised care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions.
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Assist with medical procedures under the supervision of senior medical staff when required.
Participate in ongoing training programmes to stay current with best practices in nursing care.

Experience

Proven experience in a clinical nursing setting, preferably within a hospital or similar healthcare environment.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
Demonstrated ability in medication administration with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to nursing roles.
Prior experience working with diverse patient populations is advantageous but not essential. This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about delivering compassionate healthcare while developing their professional skills within a supportive team environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
