Job Overview

Embark on an exciting journey as a Trainee Locksmith, where you will gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of security and lock systems. This paid training role is designed to develop your skills from the ground up, providing a solid foundation in locksmithing techniques, safety procedures, and customer service. Responsibilities

Assist experienced locksmiths in installing, repairing, and maintaining various lock systems and security hardware.
Learn to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications related to lock mechanisms.
Support the preparation of work sites by organizing tools and materials needed for projects.
Participate in safety training sessions to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Help with customer interactions by providing clear explanations of services and answering basic inquiries.
Contribute to the completion of service reports, inventory logs, and safety documentation.
Develop your technical skills through on-the-job training, shadowing professionals during different tasks.

Requirements

A strong interest in security systems, mechanical work, or related fields.
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards learning new skills.
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely in various environments.
Basic manual dexterity and comfort working with hand tools and small parts.

Full UK driving licence is essential
