Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ventilation Service and Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves delivering high-quality ventilation solutions through installation, maintenance, and repair of ventilation systems across various sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, construction experience, and leadership qualities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties

Install, service, and maintain ventilation systems in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and installation manuals to execute precise system setups.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues promptly to minimise downtime, including air conditioning units and related mechanical components.
Lead small teams during installation projects, providing guidance and ensuring tasks are completed safely and effectively.
Conduct routine inspections of ventilation systems to identify potential faults or inefficiencies and perform necessary maintenance or repairs.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to coordinate installation schedules and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system specifications for future reference and compliance purposes.

Requirements

Proven experience in ventilation system installation, maintenance, or related mechanical roles within construction or engineering environments.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
Experience with equipment repair and general maintenance tasks.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to supervise teams during installation projects.
Construction experience is highly desirable to facilitate seamless integration into various work sites.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure safety standards are met consistently.
Valid relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or HVAC systems
