Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Demolition Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising demolition and soft strip projects, managing site operatives, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of workmanship across all activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate demolition operatives and subcontractors on site.
- Manage demolition, soft strip, and strip out projects from commencement through to completion.
- Plan and organise daily site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Liaise with management, clients, and site personnel, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Ensure all demolition works are carried out in accordance with company procedures, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Operate excavators and other demolition plant and equipment when required.
- Safely use and oversee the use of hand and power tools.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring all operatives follow safe systems of work.
- Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and monitor workforce performance.
- Complete all required paperwork, reports, permits, and site documentation accurately and to a high standard.
- Maintain site records and ensure documentation is submitted within required timescales.
- Manage waste segregation and disposal in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Identify and report site issues, hazards, or delays, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure all employees comply with company policies, procedures, and site rules.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working within the demolition industry.
- Valid CCDO Supervisor Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience operating excavators and demolition plant (preferred but not essential)
- Good understanding of demolition methods and site safety requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Competent in completing site paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
Desirable Qualifications
- SMSTS, SSSTS, or other Health & Safety qualifications.
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Additional plant operator tickets and industry-recognised training.
