Job Summary:

Lusofonia Culture & Events Ltd is seeking an Events Operations Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-quality cultural, corporate, and community events. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and motivated professional who enjoys managing event operations, leading teams, and creating outstanding event experiences. What you'll do:

Manage the day-to-day operations of cultural, corporate, and community events.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee event logistics from concept through successful delivery.
Work closely with clients, vendors, venues, and event partners to ensure seamless execution.
Manage event budgets, schedules, resources, and operational timelines.
Lead event teams and coordinate staff, contractors, and volunteers where required.
Monitor event performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ensure all events comply with health and safety requirements and company standards.
Resolve operational issues quickly to ensure successful event delivery.
Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to support event promotion and growth.
Prepare post-event reports and recommend improvements for future events.

Requirements:

Experience in event management, hospitality, operations, project management, customer service, or a related field is beneficial.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
Flexible and adaptable approach to changing operational needs.
Relevant qualifications or equivalent professional experience are welcomed.
